PulteGroup Names Andy Stern Illinois Division President

CHICAGO, Oct. 3, 2019 – PulteGroup, Inc. (NYSE: PHM) announced today that Andy Stern has been named Division President of the company’s Illinois operations. With over two decades of leadership experience in the homebuilding industry, Stern will lead all aspects of the division’s homebuilding operations in the Greater Chicago area.

“Andy brings a wealth of leadership and industry experience that will continue to help grow our business and deliver outstanding financial, operational and consumer-focused results in Illinois,” said PulteGroup North Area President Tony Barbee.  “We are excited to welcome him to the PulteGroup team.”

Stern most recently oversaw construction, capital and facilities as Corporate Vice President for The Scion Group, one of the nation’s largest owners and operators of private student housing. Prior to this role, he served as Senior Vice President at Community Development Capital Group, a national firm specializing in residential real estate joint ventures and land banking transactions on behalf of Blackstone/GSO. Stern began his career at Toll Brothers as an Assistant Project Manager and went on to establish their Chicago-based operations and lead the division as Senior Vice President.

Stern received an MS in Real Estate Development from Columbia University in New York and a BA in Art and Architecture History from Brandeis University in Waltham, MA.
