New Park Unveiled at Woodbridge by Del Webb in Northern California

Veterans Memorial Part of 10-acre Greenbelt
MANTECA, CA – July 28, 2016 -  Del Webb has unveiled a new 10-acre park at its Woodbridge community in Manteca, offering homeowners even more recreational and social amenities in the small town setting.

Liberty Park represents the final new amenity to be built in Woodbridge by Del Webb. The community already includes world-class amenities such as large recreation center with fitness center, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, softball complex, sport courts, 18-hole putting course, additional 12-acre park with catch-and-release fishing lake, and more.

“This beautiful new park compliments the existing amenities in Woodbridge and will be enjoyed by residents for many years to come,” said Charlie Fairchild, Woodbridge sales consultant at a special dedication ceremony of the park opening. “This community offers world-class amenities that promote health and wellness, in a small town setting.”

Woodbridge’s new Liberty Park features pickleball and tennis courts, chipping course, amphitheater, outdoor picnic cabanas, barbeque areas and picnic tables, drinking fountains, concession and restroom facilities and a special veterans memorial. The veterans memorial honors Woodbridge veterans and veteran family members of Woodbridge residents.  The chipping course is modeled after popular golf holes from legendary courses such as Augusta National Golf Course, St. Andrews and Pebble Beach. The park also features ample greenbelt and landscaped areas, hundreds of shade trees, overlooks, European-style walkways and paseos with pavers.
