Pulte and Surya Rugs Partnership Reflected Through Home Decor Trends
ATLANTA, March 7, 2016 - PulteGroup is supporting children in need though it’s purchase of rugs and home accessories for the interiors of many of its new model homes opening in communities across the 
nation.
For every Surya Rug included in the company’s new Pulte, Del Webb and Centex new home models this year, PulteGroup is making a donation to support the Akshaya Patra Foundation, which helps feed school-age children in India. In 2016 alone, the rugs and home accessories Pulte plans on using in its new model homes will fund lunches for an entire year for 80 children in the program, says Janice Jones, vice president of Interior Design for the company.
“We are thrilled to be a part of Surya’s commitment to supporting education and fighting malnutrition in India,” says Jones, whose team is on track to design and merchandise about 1.5 million square feet of models and amenities in 2016 alone. “PulteGroup’s designers incorporate the hottest trends and classic looks in our new model homes. A beautiful rug and accessories can set the design of a room apart with great character and style.”
