Builder debuts first Active Adult community in master-planned development in North Texas
LITTLE ELM, Texas, Nov 7, 2018 — Del Webb, the nation’s leading builder of active adult communities, is opening its second active adult community in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, Del Webb at Union Park, on Saturday, November 10. The community is located inside Little Elm’s award-winning master-planned development Union Park.
From 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., prospective residents can get a taste of the signature Del Webb lifestyle with fall craft beers from Little Elm Crafthouse, a wine tasting, festival treats, a raffle prize and live entertainment. Six brand new furnished model homes will be available to view. Attendees will also have the opportunity to tour the latest progress of the state-of-the-art amenity center.
Upon completion, Del Webb at Union Park will feature 607 single-family, single-story homes with consumer inspired floor plans that complement active adult lifestyles. The 10 home designs range in size from 1,300 to 2,600 square feet, with 2-3 bedrooms, 2-3 bathrooms and 2-car garages. In keeping with Del Webb’s focus on an active lifestyle, a private amenity center opening in March 2019 will include over 10,000 square feet of recreational and social spaces, with a clubhouse, fitness center and locker rooms, multipurpose rooms for activities, resort-style pool, and bocce ball, pickle ball and tennis courts. A dedicated activities and lifestyle director will be onsite to plan events for residents.
