Community Involvement

The first annual Tampa Building to Make Lives Better Golf Tournament hosted by PulteGroup's West Florida Division on Oct. 3 at Avila Golf & Country Club is expected to raise over $50,000 to benefit The Children’s Home.

PulteGroup encourages employees to give back to the community and volunteer their time by providing two days off with pay every year. In addition to individual community involvement, employees in Pulte Division markets across the nation collectively support about 130 different non-profits every year, doing everything from feeding the homeless, to collecting school supplies for needy kids.
 

An injured veteran broke ground today on a new mortgage-free Pulte home as an enthusiastic crowd cheered and shed tears of joy. U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Oskar R. Zepeda was joined by his wife Lisa and two children at the groundbreaking ceremony, which marked the first time they visited the site of their future home.
 

PulteGroup is supporting children in need though it’s purchase of rugs and home accessories for the interiors of many of its new model homes opening in communities across the nation. For every Surya Rug included in the company’s new home models this year, PulteGroup is making a donation to support the Akshaya Patra Foundation, which helps feed school-age children in India.

The Anthem Grille at Anthem at Merrill Ranch received top honors by Golf Inc. Magazine’s 2016 Golden Fork Awards. The restaurant, part of the community’s Poston Butte Golf Club, won first place for best new public restaurant in the annual awards competition.
