Children's Home Network in Tampa Renames Building Pulte Promise Center

Building is Renamed After Pulte Homes Gives Back to At-Risk Children through Their Charity Golf Tournament

Tampa Bay, Fla., – Nearly $80,000 was raised last year by the West Florida Division of Pulte Homes at its first annual Building to Make Lives Better Charity Golf Tournament benefitting the Children’s Home Network in Tampa.

One year later, proceeds raised successfully funded the renovation of the Children’s Home Network’s vocational building, which can now be used for continued learning by Kids Village and Adolescents in Motherhood (AIM), a residential treatment program, specializing in children ages 6 to 18, who are victims of abuse, neglect, and abandonment. In recognition of Pulte’s continued support and generosity, the building has been renamed the Pulte Promise Center.

The second annual Building to Make Lives Better Charity Golf Tournament benefitting the Children’s Home Network will take place on October 2, 2017 at the Avila Golf and Country Club in Tampa, Florida. Sean Strickler, Division President for Pulte Homes in the West Florida division, says tournament proceeds will continue to provide the educational programs and services of the children who need it most.

“All of us at Pulte Homes are proud and excited to be partnered with the Children’s Home Network,” Strickler said. “The enormous effort on the part of generous donors and contributors to this event is moving, and we are pleased to join hands with the entire Tampa community to assist these very deserving at-risk children and families through this incredible charity,” Strickler continued.

Pulte’s partnership with the Children’s Home Network will impact at-risk children for the foreseeable future. Their support for educational development is invaluable in sustaining and creating new leadership, academic success and overall well-being opportunities for our at-risk children in Tampa Bay.
