Centex taps Ilyce Glink to Facilitate Two Free Webinar Sessions in October


To equip first-time homebuyers with the information and tools to better navigate the homebuying experience, Centex will host its first ever national webinars next month in its ongoing efforts to educate first-time homebuyers and bring them one step closer to the dream of homeownership.

Themed "Open the Door to Homeownership: A Free Webinar Series Featuring Ilyce Glink," the online video webinars will feature two different session topics. On Wednesday, October 6 at 7 p.m. CDT, "Rent vs. Buy" will discuss the benefits of homeownership. Participants will obtain information to find out if they are ready to purchase a home. And, if they are, they will learn why today is the perfect time to buy a home.

In the second webinar, "New vs. Resale" will be the topic on Wednesday, October 27 at 7 p.m. CDT. In this session, participants will learn why short sales and foreclosures may not be the deal they appear. Additionally, Ms. Glink will discuss how homebuyers can take advantage of historically low interest rates, incentives and pricing from new homebuilders, and excellent community locations with the just the right house and amenities to fit their families' needs.
