PulteGroup Shares its 2016 Top Interior Design Trends

Whether it’s most innovative features in home design or the hottest trends in home interiors, PulteGroup’s experts are sharing the must-have home ideas for 2016.

PulteGroup’s in-house design team oversaw the interior design and merchandizing of nearly 1 million square feet of new model homes and amenities in 2015 alone, including the interior decorating of well more than 300 Pulte, Centex and Del Webb model homes across the country. 

“Model homes not only help homebuyers visualize the space, but can provide an aspirational experience for people seeking ideas and inspiration,” says Janice Jones, vice president of merchandising for PulteGroup. “We spent more than $15 million in 2015 to ensure our models reflect the hottest design trends and interior innovations.”

Effectively acting as one of the largest design shops in the nation, the company’s 33 design professionals have great insight into the hottest must-have trends for home interiors.  Here are some of their predictions for 2016.

Big beautiful statement lighting: Bold and oversized lighting choices add drama

Soft pastels mixed with rich wood tones and metal accents provide a
