Built to Honor® Welcomes Home U.S. Army Sergeant William Watson in San Antonio

PulteGroup's Built to Honor® program celebrated another meaningful milestone. On Wednesday, October 23, 2024, U.S. Army Sergeant William Watson received the keys to his new mortgage-free home in Pulte Homes’ Horizon Ridge community in San Antonio, TX.

The dedication ceremony featured a stirring tribute, with San Antonio Patriot Guard riders leading Sgt. Watson in a vintage Army Jeep while neighbors and trade partners lined the streets waving American flags. The John M. Harlan High School JROTC color guard presented the colors, followed by the National Anthem and a moving ceremony.

"Today's dedication is a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made by our nation's heroes and their families," said Shawn Seaberg, San Antonio Division President, PulteGroup. "This home represents not just our gratitude, but our commitment to supporting veterans and their families."

A grateful Sgt. Watson shared, "I'm still at a loss for words, but I'm just grateful to everyone who put their hands in it. I'm just filled with so much joy."
