BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich., Dec 13, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Pulte Homes has been honored as a top finisher in astudy of environmentally friendly homebuilding practices as reported by Calvert Investments. The study, titled A Green Recovery for America's Homebuilders? A Survey of Sustainable Practices by the Homebuilding Industry, is an update to Calvert Investment's 2008 analysis.

Calvert Investments, a leader in sustainable and responsible investing, analyzed the green building practices of the top 10 largest publicly traded homebuilding companies in the nation. The Company examined the policies and procedures of each builder under the four key areas of energy use, building material use, water use, and land use and conservation of open space and habitat.
