12 Degrees North by Pulte Homes opens to the public Saturday, March 5, offering a mix of 114 town homes and single family homes in Lake Forest Park. The community represents the first major new home development in the area in more than two decades, says Andrea Murphy, vice president of sales for Pulte’s Pacific Northwest Division.
“This is the first major new home community to be built in more than 20 years in Lake Forest Park, and we are excited about the opportunity to offer millennials a great place to live in an ideal location,” Murphy said. The City’s Southern Gateway Plan encourages land redevelopment for walkable neighborhoods, employment and services in the area.
Located in Lake Forest Park with easy access to downtown and minutes to public transportation, the community features lushly landscaped open spaces and is adjacent to the Burke-Gillman Trail and Lake Washington. 12 Degrees North is also located near major employment centers and in the highly-regarded Shoreline School District.
“Located less than 20 minutes from downtown, we know this new community will appeal to millennials and young families seeking quality new homes with modern designs in a great location,” Murphy said.
The neighborhood is planned for 86 townhomes and 28 single family homes starting at $414,990 and $549,990. The 17 different home plans range in size from 1,261 to 2,275 square feet and feature two-car garages and unique life/work spaces. Murphy said these flexible first-floor spaces are ideal for home offices, small businesses or additional residential spaces like craft or hobby rooms.
