ATLANTA, March 23, 2015 – Being brand new to Atlanta didn’t stop PulteGroup, Inc. (NYSE: PHM) from being named among the city’s best places to work in the annual Atlanta Journal Constitution survey of top workplaces. According to the publication, more than 1,400 companies were nominated while 244 agreed to participate in the employee survey process. PulteGroup, which relocated its corporate headquarters to Atlanta from Detroit in June 2014, ranked among the top 50 midsized companies (150-499 employees).
“Our Atlanta homebuilding operations have been here for many years, but we opened our new Atlanta corporate office in 2014 and staffed up very quickly having hired more than 180 employees during the past 12 months,” said James Ellinghausen, executive vice president, human resources. “It is extremely gratifying to hear that our new team is already feeling at home and enjoying the culture inside of PulteGroup.”
The 2015 Atlanta Journal Constitution survey included almost 50,000 participants weighing in on a variety of subjects from how connected they felt to the organization and their pay and benefits to the company’s overall direction and leadership.
